Coaching Philosophy

Hastings College men's soccer head coach Aaron Champenoy is the camp director and lead instructor for the Hastings Elite ID Camp and Junior Bronco Academy at Hastings College. Coach Champenoy is the 2016 NAIA National Coach of the Year, led the Broncos to a 2016 undefeated season and the 2016 National Championship. Additionally, Champenoy was named GPAC Coach of the Year in 2016, earning him coach of year honors 3 of the last 4 years.

In 2017 Champenoy led the Broncos to a 19-3-1 record. The team secured their 18th straight GPAC Regular Season Championship and yet another GPAC Conference Title. Champenoy's combined record now stands at 43-3-1, the best in the nation over the two year span.

Champenoy’s passion and desire for developing players in his program carries over into his academies. Campers will experience first hand a challenging and rewarding training environment that includes many of the same exercises and philosophies used every day with his programs. These methods are centered around creating an enjoyable but demanding training environment that strives to push each player outside of his comfort zone to optimize their development in all facets of the game.

Dear Parents and Campers,

Thank you for considering our Hasting College Soccer Camps. We work hard to offer the most competitive, significant and fun camp for your son to take part in. We are excited to bring these camps back to Hastings. We run our academies with the same focus on details and passion as our own National Championship program.

Those considering sending a child for the first time should know that the camper's safety and welfare are our #1 priority and that your child will receive the highest level instruction, presentations and passion from a staff that loves coaching and teaching this beautiful game!

All the best,
